Dear S.O.S. Now Supporter,

The U.S. Senate is just days away from voting on strict legislation to stop rampant speculation and allow supply and demand - not big banks - to determine energy prices once again.  Please remind your senators of the importance of passing strong speculation reform by sending another e-mail to them today.

For two years, senators have received millions of messages from Americans just like you about the threat of rampant speculation and high-risk gambling on Wall Street; those e-mails have worked. On Wednesday, the Senate will hold an important procedural vote on speculation reform requiring the support of 60 senators. If the Senate overcomes this procedural hurdle, it will hold a final vote on legislation that includes everything we have fought for since fuel prices reached record highs in 2008.

We expect this procedural vote to be very close. That is why we need you to once again remind your senators of the importance of stopping oil speculation before it is too late. Unchecked speculation by big banks and investment firms has artificially inflated energy prices for too long. Today, you can help stop the manipulation and secretive trading on Wall Street.

Your senators need to hear from you. Your outreach has already brought this legislation to the edge of victory, and helped weaken the influence of high-priced, Wall Street lobbyists. Nevertheless, now is the time to remind your senators that they represent hardworking, real Americans - not greedy speculators that take advantage of Main Street Americans.

Victory over inflated energy prices is nearly here. Please demand that your senators end oil speculation by ending further debate on financial reform. Together, we can help protect America's economic recovery.

Thank you,
